چکیده

Most orthopteran insects are phytophagous and some important pests in agriculture forests. Many intestinal microflora of Orthoptera have been reported, primarily from Acridoidea there few reports other taxa. In this study, we collected 15 individuals representing five species ( Ruspolia lineosa , Tetrix japonica Erianthus versicolor Gryllotalpa orientalis Teleogryllus emma ) belonging to superfamilies (Tettigonioidea, Tetrigoidea, Eumastacoidea, Gryllotalpoidea Grylloidea) characterise compare the gut microbiota with greater taxonomic width by performing sequencing analysis 16S rRNA V4 region material. A total 606,053 high-quality sequences 3,105 OTUs were acquired samples 24 phyla, 48 classes, 69 orders, 133 families 219 genera. Firmicutes bacteria most abundant followed Bacteroidetes, Cyanobacteria, Actinobacteria Acidobacteria. At genus level, Serratia Citrobacter Wolbachia Lactobacillus Parabacteroides predominant genera R. T. E. G. respectively. Both Principal Coordinates Analysis (PCoA) heatmap results revealed significant differences bacterial community composition across species. Additionally, alpha diversity indicated richness was significantly different amongst

Cryptic diversity in Australian stick insects (Insecta; Phasmida) uncovered by the DNA barcoding approach.

The barcoding approach was applied to analyze 16 Australian morphospecies of the order Phasmida, with the aim to test if it could be suitable as a tool for phasmid species identification and if its discrimination power would allow uncovering of cryptic diversity. Both goals were reached. Eighty-two specimens representing twelve morphospecies (Sipyloidea sp. A, Candovia annulata, Candovia sp. A,...

Impact of the Gut Microbiota on Vaccine Responses

Non-responsiveness or poor responsiveness to vaccines are challenging issues in vaccine development, and efforts have been made to find out the potential reasons for these conditions. Intestinal microbiome plays a key role in regulating and development of immune system and the composition and diversity of microbiota in different individuals on the one hand, and the imbalance of intestinal micro...

Molecular phylogeny of Polyneoptera (Insecta) inferred from expanded mitogenomic data

The Polyneoptera represents one of the earliest insect radiations, comprising the majority of hemimetabolous orders, in which many species have great economic importance. Here, we sequenced eleven mitochondrial genomes of the polyneopteran insects by using high throughput pooled sequencing technology, and presented a phylogenetic reconstruction for this group based on expanded mitochondrial gen...

Metabarcoding analysis of eukaryotic microbiota in the gut of HIV-infected patients

Research on the relationship between changes in the gut microbiota and human disease, including AIDS, is a growing field. However, studies on the eukaryotic component of the intestinal microbiota have just begun and have not yet been conducted in HIV-infected patients. Moreover, eukaryotic community profiling is influenced by the use of different methodologies at each step of culture-independen...
